Why wouldn't I just hire a full-time iOS and Android developer and a UI UX Designer?

Good question! For starters, the annual cost of a full-time senior-level designer now exceeds $100,000, plus benefits (and good luck finding one available). And the annual cost of a mobile app developer for each platform (iOS and Android each!) is $125,000 - $175,000 so that is $500,000 per year if you hire all of them for your team.  Aside from that, you may not always have enough work to keep them busy at all times, so you're stuck paying for time you aren't able to utilize.

With the monthly plan, you can pause and resume your subscription as often as you need to ensure you're only paying your designer when you have work available for them.

Is there a limit to how many requests I can have? 

Once subscribed, you're able to add as many design requests to your queue as you'd like. Keep in mind that each task is worked one at a time. You get to decide in Trello which feature is being worked on at any given time. 

How fast will I receive app builds?

On average, you will not see anything coding-wise for the first month because we build the design prototype first, but then after that, most app builds will come through once a week and will be sent to you by the end of the week. You can request for them to come less often. We send them in such a way that they are easy for you to test on your own smartphone. 

How does the pause subscription feature work?

Billing cycles are based on a 31 day period. Let's say you sign up and use the service for 21 days, and then decide to pause your subscription. This means that the billing cycle will be paused and you'll have 10 days of service remaining to be used anytime in the future.

You can also cancel anytime and there is no minimum contract length or cancellation fee.

What software programs do you code in and create designs in?

For hybrid apps, which is what AppDream recommends for speed of development, everything is coded in Flutter with the Dart language. There is only one code base for a hybrid app and Flutter exports an iOS and Android app. If you want a Native mobile app instead, then we use XCODE for iOS and JAVA for Android. Those apps take much longer and require double the code.

Most design requests are designed using Figma and the different tools within the Adobe Creatve Suite.

How do I request designs?

AppDream offers a ton of flexibility in how you request designs using Trello. Some common ways clients request designs is directly via Trello, sharing Google docs or send us wireframes. We are good with any of those methods. Basically, if it can be linked to or shared in Trello, it's fair game.

What if I don't like the design or a feature that was built in the app?

No worries! We'll continue to revise the design and the coding / features / screens until you're 100% satisfied.

What if I only have a single request?

That's fine. You can pause your subscription when finished and return when you have additional design or app coding needs. There's no need to let the remainder of your subscription go to waste.

Are there any refunds if I don't like the service?

Due to the high quality nature of the work, there will be no refunds issued.

What happens after I start my subscription?

First, we have a free no strings attached. We do a Zoom video or a phone call to make sure you understand the entire process and get all of your questions answered. Then once you pick a subscription and pay for it, you will be onboarded into Trello where you will make your unlimited design and development requests and you can invite unlimited team members into your board as well, who can do the same. 

What is the average ETA for tasks?

Once a task is received we immediately give you an ETA. Different app functionality and features can vary in delivery time. Expect 2-3 medium to complex features per week. 

Is there a limit to how complex tasks can be?

No, tasks can be as complex as you need. Before we get started with a complex task our first step is to divide into smaller ones, this will help you have better visibility and for us to move faster.
